With the return of Malcom Merlyn in the last few episodes of season 2, and with how things ended in the season finale last night, it wouldn’t be too far of stretch to think that he would play a larger role in the upcoming third season. Well it looks like that will be the case, as a tweet by Stephen Amell reveals that John Borrowman will indeed be bumped up to a series regular in season 3.

While John Borrowman hasn’t officially been announced by The CW that he will be a series regular in the third season, I think it’s pretty safe to assume they will be making that announcement shortly.
