I think even after the Flash shows up, they will moderate the use of powers on this show. Just like Batman and Captain America, Arrow can’t exactly fight super-powered bad guys all the time. I imagine they will keep things similar to the Green Arrow comics where he mostly fights regular humans, albeit ones with very good training or genetic and technological enhancements.
Also the Clock Tower might be more of a reference to The Birds of Prey.
I’m all for more comics talk. Maybe on a rerun week you guys can give your thoughts on the Green Arrow title currently written by your fellow countryman Jeff Lemire. There seems to be a little give and take between the book and the tv show. Diggle recently had his first appearance in the DC Universe proper.
