I’m way behind in listening to your podcast, but I’m slowly catching up. Since you brought up where Starling City is, I’ve a thought about it that I’d like to share. The Queen’s Gambit went down in the Pacific, and it is a small enough yacht that I don’t think that it traveled all the way round North America through the Panama Canal, nor all the way around South America to get to the Pacific, so it must have started out there. For the show, I think of Starling City as being Seattle, and Central City as being Portland. They are each similar enough to their fictional counterparts to match, and they are the right distance apart. I don’t think this applies to the comics, but for the show, it works.
