Some more season five casting news to report today, as The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that actor Tyler Ritter (The McCarthys) has been cast as Detective Malone, a new addition to the Star City Police force, and if I were to guess, probably Team Arrow’s new inside man into the department after the departure of Captain Lance.
The Hollywood Reporter also goes onto to say that just because Captain Lance is no longer with the SCPD, that doesn’t mean he’ll have a smaller role next season, but in fact will still be a major player in season five’s story.
Arrow season five returns this fall on October 8th, but stay tuned for more season 5 announcements throughout the summer!
