A bit of a surprise move by The CW who revealed their fall schedule today, as “Arrow” will be moving to a new night and time at the start of season six. While the rest of the DC comic shows on The CW remain in their familiar same time slots, “Arrow” will now air on Thursday nights at 9pm.
With the reveal of their fall schedule, The CW also released a new synopsis for “Arrow,” where at the end it gives us a little tease of what we can expect the new threat to Oliver and Team Arrow will be in the upcoming season:

We still got one more episode to go of season five, but with the flashbacks of Oliver’s five years away from Starling City ending, and the series moving to a new night, things are looking to be very different for “Arrow” in it’s sixth season.
