The CW has announced that “Arrow” will be back for a sixth season starting next fall. Along with “Arrow,” the three other DC shows (“The Flash,” “Legends of Tomorrow,” and “Supergirl”) will all be coming back for new seasons as well.
Here is the official statement about all the renewals for next season from CW President Mark Pedowitz:

“Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our lineup of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas. Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

“Arrow” season five has been a great rebound for the series, so i am definitely glad it will have the opportunity to build off that with another season. It will also be interesting to see what they will do about the flashback sequences now that it will be caught up with season one after season five ends. A question that we’ve all had since the beginning of the series will now officially be answered next season!
