The CW has officially announced today that “Arrow” and the rest of their comic book series have been renewed for new seasons next fall, which will be Arrow’s seventh, as well as that the network will be expanding to a six night schedule with Sunday nights.
Here is the renewal announcement from CW president Mark Pedowitz:

“As The CW expands to a six-night, Sunday through Friday schedule next season, we are proud to have such a deep bench of great returning series for 2018-19. By picking these 10 series up for next season, we have a terrific selection of programming to choose from when we set our fall schedule in May, with more still to come. And I’m especially happy that we’ll continue to work with the incredibly talented casts, producers, and writers who create the series our fans are so passionate about.”

It’s almost hard to believe that we are already at seven seasons of “Arrow,” as time is really just flying by since the series began. While we still have a few more episodes to go in season six, we can now officially start looking ahead to what will be in store for Oliver and Team Arrow next season.
