Some new season four casting has been announced today, as several online trades such as the Hollywood Reporter and Deadline revealed that British actor Jimmy Akingbola has been cast as the DC villain Baron Reiter, also known as Baron Blitzkrieg, and will be a recurring villain in the flashback sequences of season four.
In the comics, Baron Reiter was the leader of a group called Shadowspire, and while we don’t know if that same group will be a part of season four, it’s being reported that Baron Reiter will offer Oliver a position in his underground organization.
