TV Guide got a scoop today that’s sure to make DC Comics fans even more excited for this upcoming season of both “Arrow” and “The Flash.” Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed to TV Guide that a special 2-hour crossover event between both series will be happening fairly early this upcoming season. Here is what Andrew Kreisberg said about the event from TV Guide:

As for how much The Flash will cross over with flagship series Arrow, Kreisberg told TVGuide.com after the panel that it’ll happen often on a small scale, but they are planning for a big event later in the season. “Episodes 8 of both shows, Arrow and Flash, are going to be a two-hour crossover event,” Kreisberg says. “[Also], in Episode 4, Felicity [Emily Bett Rickards] is going to come to The Flash.”

Having Barry Allen appear at the end of the first half of season 2 worked really well, so I’m glad they’re going to be doing that again next season, but this time on a much bigger scale now that Barry will be The Flash! It’s also great to hear that smaller crossover stuff will happen often on both series, which just adds more things for us fans to geek out over when watching both shows!
