I enjoyed the episode for the most part but I have some small problems with the ‘riot’ scene even though it sets up two plot points later on. First off the people there to trash the bank to get inside to get hard cash means apparently there are no ATM machines or other banks in Starling City.
The second point is that the actions of Team Arrow with tear gas to disperse the crowd who has already broken private property means that the police there could have used tear gas themselves to disperse the crowd.
This point means the castigation of Laurel for sending the police there by both Oliver and her father even though it pays off later could have been flipped around by her scoffing that the police has tear gas too.
