It looks like we haven’t seen the last of Black Siren this season, and in fact, we’re going to be seeing a lot more of her in “Arrow” season six, as it has just been announced over at the official DC Comics site that Katie Cassidy will be returning for the last two episode of this season as Black Siren, and will then become a series regular again for season six.
Here is executive producer Marc Guggenheim on Kattie Cassidy’s return as a series regular:

“One of the things that most excites us about Arrow is that we go where the story takes us. Last year, the story took us to the tragic death of Laurel Lance. This year, our midseason finale reintroduced us to Laurel’s doppelgänger, Black Siren. We were so taken by Katie’s fearless interpretation of this character that we knew her story was not yet finished. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Katie back to Arrow as Black Siren, though as her appearances on Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow this season show, she never really left the family.”

I definitely wasn’t expecting to see Katie Cassidy back as a series regular again on the show, but glad she will be again since she was there from the beginning, and in my opinion got a raw deal by being mistakenly killed off.
We’ll see how Black Siren factors into Oliver’s life and the overall story moving forward, when she returns in the 22nd and 23rd episodes of this season.
