This year’s “Crisis On Infinite Earths” crossover even just got even more exciting, as it has just been announced by The CW today at the TCA summer press tour that Bruce Wayne will finally be making his Arrowverse debut, and will be played by non-other than the legendary Kevin Conroy!
Kevin Conroy is of course known for voicing Batman/Bruce Wayne in “Batman: The Animated Series,” and has since voiced the character for over twenty years across various series, movies and videogames, and has become the definitive portrayal of Batman for a lot of fans, including myself, so I could not be more excited about this news!
He will be playing Bruce Wayne from the future in “Crisis On Infinite Earths,” and will probably be similar to the role he played as an older Bruce Wayne in “Batman Beyond.”
Also announced today were the air dates for “Crisis On Infinite Earths,” and it’s going to be a little different this year, as there will be a gap of about a month from the first three episodes to the last two, which will probably mean that “The Flash” episode of the crossover will end on a big cliffhanger. Those dates are:

Batwoman – Monday, December 9th, 2019
The Flash – Tuesday, December 10th, 2019
Arrow – Tuesday, January 14th, 2020
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th, 2020

I’ve been covering the news for “Arrow” and the crossover events for awhile now here on Quiver, but this one about Kevin Conroy playing Bruce Wayne easily takes the cake as the most exciting for me. Not only are we finally going to be seeing Bruce Wayne make his Arrowverse debut, but the fact that they’re bringing one of the most iconic actors to ever play Bruce Wayne from a series that is not only my definitive take on Batman, but from my favorite TV series period in “Batman: The Animated Series” to play him, is something I just cannot wait to see, and is just another cool addition that is going to make “Crisis On Infinite Earths” a special DC event like never-before.
