“Arrow” executive Marc Guggenheim tweeted out an interesting image today that teases what DC character could be involved in future episodes of “Arrow.” The image shows a plane from Ferris Air, which is from the Green Lantern universe, and one that we have seen in an episode of “Arrow” in the past. But the most interesting part about this teaser image is that the tagline on there says, “We fly without fear.” Overcoming fear is a big theme in Green Lantern’s story, so seeing that phrase in the image is definitely a cool nod to the character, and something that makes you think if it is indeed a tease for things to come regarding characters from the Green Lantern universe, such as Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris, who work at Ferris Air.
Marc Guggenheim was one of the writers for the Green Lantern film, so since he has worked on the character previously, it does make sense for him to want to bring characters from there into the “Arrow” universe. As a massive fan of Green Lantern and his universe, nothing would make me happier than seeing Green Lantern characters appear on “Arrow”!
