While Stephen Amell made an appearance as Oliver in the first episode “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” Entertainment Weekly has now revealed that he will be back again in the sixth episode of the series, and will play a future version of Oliver when the team travels to 2046. But that’s not the best part. Check out what Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim told Entertainment Weekly on how Oliver will be portrayed in the future. Spoiler warning if you don’t want to find out until you see the episode:
Spoilers Below:
[blockquote cite=]“Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.”[/blockquote]
We’re going to see “The Dark Knight Returns” Oliver in live action. How awesome is that?! While I’m sure we wont see him shoot a kryptonite arrow into Superman while he’s fighting Batman, it’s gonna be a real geek out moment for comic books fans when we first see that Oliver on screen.
